Field-Scale Solar Energy, Wiltshire

We undertook the landscape and visual assessment for a 17ha / 5MW solar photovoltaic project near Kington Langley, Wiltshire.

Since starting-up in 2010, we’ve built up considerable expertise in the assessment of solar schemes, having worked on twenty schemes across southern and central England with capacities of between 5 and 17MW and in a wide variety of landscapes. Services we provide include feasibility studies, LVIAs, production of photomontages, and work in connection with planning appeals.

Wind Energy Projects, Scotland

We’ve worked on several wind energy schemes in Scotland (in Aberdeenshire, Perthshire and Fife), including single and multiple-turbine developments, and offshore schemes and their on-shore connection infrastructure. The above image shows Lochelbank wind farm (in the foreground) with the proposed turbine at East Dron in the distance. Demonstrating a considered approach to cumulative impacts was key to gaining consent for this scheme.

Our wind energy portfolio includes projects where we have given advice in relation to site feasibility and design, LVIA work, and photomontage to Scottish Natural Heritage guidelines using industry-specific software.
